about me and my blog
A while ago, sometime in 2006, I started a blog called “Improving the Shed”. It was my first blog and it’s main aim was to help me lose weight. At the time it seemed to work and I lost a fair bit. Eventually I decided I was fit enough and mad enough to walk the 192 miles from Coast to Coast with my girlfriend. That was a great walk but ever since then I’ve started letting bad habits slip back in and since I’m not walking anywhere near as much I’m starting to notice the weight is creeping back up.
So I decided I’d pick up where I left off. Well, I decided I’d start a new blog again since I deleted the old one.
The aim of this blog is mainly the same, to help me connect with people who will inspire me to lose weight and to help me connect with people who I can hopefully inspire to lose weight. However, while the subject will mainly be weight loss there might be some overlap with other stuff.
So…thanks for reading this far and hopefully you’ll find something interesting on my blog. If you want to chat at any point feel free to ping me a mail or message me on Twitter. I should be pretty easy to get hold of and I’m nearly always willing to chat when I can find the time.
